This resort caters to a wide range of restaurants from Italian to American to Japanese cuisines. There are plentiful shows to suit every age group as well, including musical performances from brother and sister act Donny and Marie Osmond and Olivia Newton-John continues to appear in her “Summer Nights” residency that runs on certain dates. Jeff Civillico provides audiences with his wacky juggling/comedy stylings in the afternoon hours. “X Burlesque” and their lovely ladies provide an adult show during the late evenings. There’s also the party atmosphere of the Go Pool, which makes the Flamingo seem like far less of a casino and more of a full fledged resort.īut the water attractions and animals aren’t the only Flamingo entertainment worth checking out, as a number of noteworthy human beings refer to the resort as their home as well. There are a number of swimming pools available, including the breathtaking main pool with its beautiful seasonal water slide. The lush gardens that are located behind the room towers appear to be entirely removed from Las Vegas, with its Chilean flamingos (pink of course), swans, ducks, koi fish and turtles that can be found frolicking in the Flamingo’s ponds and underneath its lush three story waterfalls. Famed gangster “Bugsy” Siegel’s original Flamingo might be long gone after being torn down in 1993, but the hotel that now bears its name continues to live up to its lofty title. The Flamingo is considered to be a direct descendant of the genesis of modern Las Vegas. Thanks to its utterly brilliant orange and pink facade, the Flamingo hotel and casino is every bit as colorful as the structure’s history.
